چکیده

The increase in water scarcity leads to consider the understanding of staple crops under these conditions, coupled with this, positive responses salicylic acid different crops, may be an option bringing fruition cultivation runner bean (Phaseolus coccineus). This study evaluated effect (SA) on biochemical P. coccineus, humidity restriction periods from January July 2019 and 2020, at Benemerita Autonomous University Puebla, Mexico. research consisted three levels drought: 30, 60 100% soil moisture; five SA: 0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5 2.0 mM; two fertilization: non-fertilizer fertilizer [(00-60-30) sowing + (30N) foliar nitrogen grain filling stage] for growing periods. experimental design was factorial random blocks replications. results showed that application mM SA maintained highest relative content leaves (89.05%), as well chlorophyll a, b carotenoids (2.20, 1.11 0.90 µg.mL-1, respectively); glycinebetaine (24.80 µmol.g-1 DW) total soluble sugars (31.15 mg eq.glucose g-1 DW), excluding proline. did not protein fractions, even plants fertilizer; but effects were greater without hydric stress fertilization.

Improving Effects of Salicylic Acid on Morphological, Physiological and Biochemical Responses of Salt-imposed Winter Jasmine

To investigate the positive effects of salicylic acid (SA) on morphological and biochemical traits of salinity stress-imposed winter jasmine, an experiment was conducted in a research greenhouse. The experiment was conducted using a factorial experiment based on completely randomized design with four levels of salinity stress (2, 4, 6, and 8 dS.m-1) as the first factor and different levels of S...

Physiological and biochemical responses of Hypericum perforatum to salt stress and salicylic acid spraying

Salinity is one of the main obstacles to the successful production of agricultural products. Hormonal compounds such as salicylic acid (SA) as plant growth regulators can have different physiological and biochemical effects in plants under salt stress. In present research, the effects of different concentrations of sodium chloride (2, 6 and 10 dS/m) and foliar application of SA (0, 0.25 and ...

interactive effects of salicylic acid and silicon on some physiological responses of cadmium-stressed maize seedlings

the impacts of salicylic acid and silicon on some physiological parameters of maize seedlings in the presence ofcadmium (100 μm) were investigated. inhibitory effects of cadmium on seedling growth resulted in reduced shoot and root fresh weight, low percentage of relative water content, low chlorophyll, free proline and soluble sugars contents and a low rate of lipid peroxidation. results indic...
